Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 5 November 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of truetales.algologylabs.com (the "Website") and to the videos, trailers, images and text published by True Tales (also "True Tales Studio") on YouTube, Instagram, X and other platforms (the "Content"). True Tales is operated by Algology Labs, India ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Website or the Content, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
1. About our content
True Tales retells real crimes, mysteries and unusual events for documentary, educational and entertainment purposes. Our stories are based on published sources such as court rulings, news archives, books and public records, which we list in each video description.
- Dramatization: to tell a story clearly, we may dramatize small details such as dialogue, scene settings or the order of minor events. Names, places, dates and legal outcomes are kept to the sources.
- AI reconstructions: some visuals are generated with AI tools. They are labelled on screen and declared as altered or synthetic content on YouTube. They are illustrations, not photographs or footage of the real people or places.
- No legal findings: our videos describe what sources report. They are not legal advice and do not make new findings about anyone's guilt. Where a case was unresolved, disputed or ended without a conviction, we say so.
2. Content warning
Our Content describes real violence, death and other disturbing subjects. It is not made for children, and some videos may be age-restricted. Viewer discretion is advised. If a story affects you personally, please consider stopping and reaching out to someone you trust or to a local support service.
3. Accuracy and corrections
We work hard to get the facts right, but sources can disagree, and new information can come to light. If you believe something in our Content is wrong, unfair or harmful, especially if you are connected to the case, email us with the video title, the time in the video and your source. We review every report and will correct the description, add a note, edit or remove Content where it is justified.
4. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, our scripts, narration, edits, original graphics, the True Tales name and logo, and the Website design belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law.
Third-party material, such as music, maps, archive images and quotes, is used under licence (for example Creative Commons, credited in the video description) or as fair dealing / fair use for news reporting, criticism, commentary and education.
5. What you may do
- Watch, like, comment on and share our Content using the platforms' own share features.
- Embed our videos using the platforms' official embed tools.
- Quote short parts of our Content for commentary, review or discussion, with credit and a link to the original.
6. What you may not do
- Download and re-upload our videos, or substantial parts of them, as your own or on other channels.
- Use our AI reconstructions out of context, or present them as real photographs or footage of real people.
- Use our name, logo or Content in a way that suggests we endorse you or your product, or for commercial purposes without our written permission.
- Use our Content to harass, identify or target anyone involved in a case, including victims, families, witnesses or the accused.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Website or its servers.
7. Comments and community conduct
Comments on our Channels are governed by the rules of the platform you post on. To protect the real people in our stories, we remove comments that mock victims, share private information about anyone involved, accuse named people of crimes they were not convicted of, or are hateful, spam or abusive. Repeat offenders may be blocked. By posting, you confirm that you have the right to post what you share.
8. Third-party platforms and links
Our Content is hosted on third-party platforms, and the Website links to them. Your use of YouTube, Instagram, X and other services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, including the YouTube Terms of Service. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party sites, including the sources we cite.
9. Sponsorships
Some Content may include sponsorships or affiliate links. We will mark sponsored Content clearly. Any purchase you make from a third party is between you and that third party.

11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Website or Content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Copyright concerns
If you believe our Content uses your work without permission, email us with a link to the Content, a description of your work and your contact details. We will review it promptly and remove or credit material where appropriate. You can also use the reporting tools of the platform concerned.
13. Changes
